 Tugas United FC is a football team funded in 2009 by Joe Barreto, the Chairman and funder of SIMPLE, in Thetford, county of Norfolk, England. Our main goals are to promote Sport and healthy living, fight against discrimination in Sports and also help the integration of different nationalities in the country. Our main squad contains players with ages from 16 and over, from more than 8 nationalities, including: English, Portuguese, African, Polish, Lithuanian, etc... We will be playing in the Breckland and district Sunday League starting in August 2009. According to new changes made in the constitution of the League, where teams have been divided into two divisions, our team will be integrated in the second division as this is our first year of existence. Our ambitious Board of Directors believes in achieving a promotion by the end of the season and we will do our best in order to meet our objectives. Our Board of Directors consists of a Chairman (Joe Barreto), Secretary (Helder Vaz), Treasurer (Rui Gomes) and Manager (Paulo Neves). We also have people devoted to other areas and Carla Barreto in charge of the Human Resources.
